Baked Macaroni in Cheese

Ingredients

  • Macaroni 1 pack
  • Chicken 250 gram
  • Onion 1
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Nutmeg 1/4 tsp
  • Yellow color 1/4 tsp
  • WHITE SAUCE:
  • Butter or oil 4 tbsp
  • Refined Flour 4 tbsp
  • Milk 1-1/2 liter
  • FOR TOPING:
  • Mozzarella cheese 1 pack
  • Crumbs 1/2 cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Combine butter and flour in a pan and roast on low flame till little light brown.
  2. Now remove the mixture from flame and add milk on room temperature. Make sure milk is not hot.
  3. Mix the sauce well and make sure no lumps remain in the sauce.
  4. If you take milk hot, then take the roasted butter and flour cool and vice versa. Both cold and both hot will destroy the recipe and lumps will be formed.
  5. Now cook the sauce on low heat till little creamy.
  6. Now add cheese to the sauce.
  7. If you want to add color to the sauce, add little food color dissolved in some water.
  8. Add salt, black pepper and mix well.
  9. In a pan take chicken and add little salt, black pepper and cook till done.
  10. Now add boiled macaroni and chicken to the sauce. Mix well.
  11. If you do not have oven, mix all and serve s it is in a platter.
  12. If you want to bake it, in a dish pour all the macaroni and sauce, spread grated cheese on the top or place cheese slices. Sprinkle some bread crumbs on top.
  13. Put the dish in the oven on 180 or 185 degree C and bake till cheese melts and is light golden.
