Hum S. Talent initiative hopes to launch new talent in Pakistan’s entertainment industry

Hum TV’s new initiative is ready for take-off.

The entertainment network has recently launched Hum S. Talent, (Hum Sultana Talent) a platform for the creative talent of Pakistan.

According to a press release, Hum S. Talent aims to find fresh faces for the industry, by giving those with potential a chance to polish their skills in a creatively nurturing environment and mentors to guide them on their journey to success.

The initiative will focus on acting and modeling but they also hope to include other fields related to the entertainment industry. With the only requirement being that candidates have talent worth polishing and dedication to make it happen.

The press conference for Hum S Talent had the president of Hum Network, Sultana Siddiqui, present, who is also leading this initiative.

“We have started this initiative to be able to bring new talent and train them, giving them an opportunity in our film and drama. I feel that this is an important need of our country’s industry, what with so many channels opening and media moving forward. There are no platforms or academies for such people who deserve to learn their craft and its ethics and discipline. Its a small effort on our part, but lets see where it takes us,” explains Siddiqui to Images.

The conference also had Nabila, who has partnered up with Sultana Siddiqui on this initiative.

Says Nabila, “I’m very honoured to be partnering up with Sultana Apa in this project. We are going to hunt for new talent and groom them, discipline them and hopefully promote them. We want to give them a fantastic platform and hopefully raise the bar for talent in Pakistan.”

Looks like Hum has a great idea for new talent, giving them the proper guidance that is not really available. Will this result in new faces storming the industry? We’ll have to wait and see!
