Angelina Jolie recently stated that is “honoured ” to play the role of mysterious & sultry Queen of Nile, Cleopatra in the upcoming biopic. Angelina is going to portray the famous Egyptian queen in a film adaption of upcoming historical boigraphy “Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra: A Life”

Although Jolie radiates grace and power matching the qualities that the author of the book Stacy Schiff finds in her biography of the most intriguing ruler who ever lived, yet she herself is humble about it. Angelina believes that she can never measure up to Elizabeth Taylor who is very famous for her role as Cleopatra. On the other hand Jolie is excited about the fact that she is going to help bring into focus the actual facts about Cleopatra’s life. According to the seasoned actress facts have always been distorted where Cleopatra is concerned & usually she has been portrayed as a vain and beautiful only.

Angelina on the other hand is quite sure that in the upcoming movie justice has finally been done to Queen of Nile’s character, where her leadership qualities have been brought into limelight. Angelina also admires Cleopatra’s love for one man only.
