Cannes Film Festival has always been a home ground for the Ex Miss World, the former beauty queen  Aishwariya since her first appearance in 2002 when Devdas was aired. This year however her younger counterpart (hmmm!!) Sonam Kapoor has stolen the limelight from right under her nose.

Sonam is truly a style diva of present day Bollywood and it’s a fact that can’t be denied. She is graceful, stylish, sexy and glorious all in the same sentence. Both the gorgeous ladies walked the red carpet at Cannes but age has finally started showing on Ash’s face and youth and energy on Sonam’s.

Sonam looked classy and chic in her contemporary Jean Paul Gaultier gown. Her sophisticated hairdo & sultry makeup complimented well with the gown. On the other hand Ashwariya wore an elegant shoulder gown but her looks definitely palled infront of Sonam. Her make up was beautiful yet it was not able to hide the fine lines and tired look around her famous eyes.
