Awan accused of blackmailing innocent citizens
LAHORE: In a scathing attack, PML-N leader Sadiq al Farooq has alleged that Federal Law Minister Babar Awan has been habitual of making money through blackmailing since his college days.
Addressing a news conference here on Thursday, Farooq said he was the one who had helped Babar Awan to enroll at the Postgraduate Degree College Asghar Mall.
Since then, Awan is busy in blackmailing simple and innocent citizens to make money, he said.
The PML-N said the self-proclaimed doctor, Babar Awan had got Rs2.5 million and 12 plots from a citizen, who then registered cases of fraud against him (Babar).
“I can also producing an audiotape to prove the charges against Awan,” he claimed.
