In the previous gala, Swaroop got a handful of Anu Malik when he performed averagely compared to the other singers. Swaroop has been a favorite with the judges, especially Anu Malik from the very start and has shown multiple times what atalented artist he is. Unfortunately, all the appreciation from every where and his experimental performance with Pritam Da does seem to have gone to his head.

Anu Malek who has always been known for his harsh but straight forward attitude said so to Swaroop. He called him over-confident and high headed. According to Anu Malek, Swaroop has forgotten the small town boy he was and thus has lost his charming humbleness which is clearly obvious in his perofrmance. Swaropp was shocked to hear such harsh comments for teh very first time till date.

Swaroop’s father called up the channel to air his his concerns. He has even threatened to boycott the show in he’s not allowed to meet Anu Malik. According to Niyaaz Khan Anu’s comments were unfair & he’s upset that instead of encouraging the contestant, he is bringing down the morale.

On the other hand, Anu Malik refused to be moved from his point of view. According to him, it is a judge’s duty to give an fair and honest opinion.

Tonight, there will not only be an elimination & music on Indian Idol 5, in fact there will be a sizzling hot drama as Niyaz Khan & Anu Malik come face to face only on Sony Entertainment Television at 8:30 Pakistan time.
