SIALKOT: DPO Sialkot Bilal Siddique Kamyana confirmed on Tuesday that the last nominated accused in the Sialkot lynching incident, ASI Waris Ali, has been arrested in Lahore.

The accused will appear in an Anti-Terrorism Court tomorrow.

The Supreme Court gave an ultimatum to the Sialkot police during the hearing of the incident in which two brothers were killed in public by a mob, to arrest the last accused within 24 hours. The accused ASI had been hiding from the police since August 15.

On Monday, 18 accused including SHO Rana Ilyas were handed over to the police for a three-day-long physical remand by the Anti-Terrorism Court of Gujranwala.
