Marie Cold Cake
Ingredients:
1 pack Marie biscuits
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
2 Eggs
4 Tbsps unsalted butter
4 tbsps cocoa powder
8 oz sugar
(Optional) 1/4 cup mixed crushed nuts. (pistachio, almond, cashew nuts, walnuts or hazlenuts)
Method:
Mix all the ingredients apart from nuts & biscuits and cook over low flame.
Stir well so a smooth, thick sauce is ready.
Let it cool at room temprature.
While the mixture cools, crush the biscuits in bite size pieces.
Fold in the biscuits & nuts (optional) in the mixture thorughly.
Pour the mixture in to a greased cake pan.
Let it chill in the frezzer for 3-5 hours.
Cut into square pieces when hard enough & serve.
