Forever a “Material Girl”, Madonna’s latest venture is all about materials as she is designing a new line of clothing with her 13 year old daughter, Lourdes Leon AKA Lola.

Sketches of  the new line were released a few days back. The sketches show mini-dresses, blazers, accessories and jeans. According to the grapevine, the line will feature a mix of tough and feminine designs.

The line, called Material Girl, will be sold exclusively at Macy’s and on Macys.com. It will be available for purchase August 3.

On the other hand, Lola is speaking up as well. T promote the line she has co-designed with her mom, Madonna, thirteen-year-old Lourdes Leon has launched her own blog at MaterialGirlCollection.com. “Helluuur thurrrr,” she begins in her introductory post before going on to announce that she’s looking forward to her upcoming fourteenth birthday because “I am FINALLY allowed to dye my hair!” She’s also careful to plug the 1980s-influenced collection: “And the 80′s are another huge obsession of mine, which is totally amazingly awesome because of Material Girl . . . HELLO!” She finished her first blog entry by offering some fairly tough fashion advice: “OK but no joke, gladiator sandals are OUT. They’ve been around for three years people COME ON!!!!”
