MQM criticizes recent hike in electricity tariff
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) members of Sindh Assembly on Wednesday have severely criticized the recent increase in electricity tariff from Nepra despite loadshedding in the province.
According to a statement release from the party’s center, people and businessmen in Karachi and other areas of the province were facing difficulties due to massive loadshedding.
The party members of the provincial assembly demanded of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to take notice of the increase in electricity tariff.
They urged the government to provide relief to the nation.
