Sindh police acquires sniffer dogs from Germany

sindh-police-acquires-sniffKARACHIA special unit of sniffer dogs, to help trace terrorists and hidden explosives, has been handed over to the special branch of the Sindh police.

The police has imported twelve dogs, aged between five months to one year, from Germany at a cost of Rs5 million. The Pakistan Army will train the dogs at Garden Police Headquarters, where a special unit has been set up.

Named after a famous drama serial of the 1980s, the K-9 the unit will be inaugurated by the inspector general of Sindh Babar Khattak.
