Fanney Khan: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shoots for 12 hours straight in Colaba

EWS DESK: On Sunday, paparazzi got their hands on pictures of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from the sets of Fanney Khan. She started shooting for the film on Sunday on the busy streets of Colaba in South Mumbai, reported Pinkvilla.

As per reports in a tabloid, the former beauty queen shot for about 12 hours straight along with her co-star Anil Kapoor starting from early morning 7 AM.

Talking about it, a source stated to the tabloid, “They shot in Colaba. Aishwarya wore a black pantsuit with a grey and white long coat. Her first shot was with her manager (played by a character actor), in which she is seen arguing with him. She shot with Anil in the evening. It was a fun scene. Off the set, it was an emotional reunion for Anil and Ash, who are working together after many years. They reminisced about the old times.”

The source further spoke about the completion of the movie saying, “With the ongoing schedule, about 75 percent of the film will be complete. Anil is done with most of his scenes, besides the ones that are to be shot with Ash and Rajkummar.”

Meanwhile on Sunday, an unfortunate accident took place on the sets of the film which saw one of the assistant directors getting injured as a motorcycle rider crashed into her. While this accident happened, Aishwarya was on the sets, shooting.

An official statement by one of the producers of the movie, Prernaa Arora has come out which reads as, “In an unfortunate accident yesterday, one of the assistant directors of our film – Fanney Khan suffered some injuries during the shoot in Mumbai when a motorcycle rider crashed into her. She was immediately given first aid and taken to the hospital for further treatment. She is completely fine now and will soon join the crew for the shoot. The police are dealing with the errant motorcyclist as per the due process of law.”
